Who Is Uncle Mack?
Uncle Mack is a one-man-band rooted in the wide-open country of northeastern Nevada — a performer who brings the full sound of a band to your stage all by himself. Guitar, harmonica, and foot percussion locked together in a raw, living groove that has filled honky-tonks, festivals, and barrooms from Spring Creek to the Idaho backcountry.
His music sits at the crossroads of folk, Americana, and roots blues — working-class songs with grit, humor, and heart. Equal parts road dog and storyteller, Uncle Mack reads a room and keeps it moving, whether he’s playing a quiet listening room or a rowdy Friday night crowd.
His annual appearances at the Yellow Pine Harmonica Festival in Idaho have become a personal landmark. He’s also the frontman of Muddy Boots & the Porch Pounders, an Americana band celebrating a decade of music in 2026.
